St. Maarten and St Kitts are open with restrictions.

St Maarten:
Since November, 2022, there are no Covid-19 Entry requirements and visitors are no longer required to complete and submit EHAS application to enter St. Maarten.

St Kitts: 
Since August 15, 2022, The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has ended all COVID-19-related entry testing and vaccination requirements. St Kitts is now open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

For the safety of all guests and crew, we still encourage you to test prior to leaving home.  If any guest becomes symptomatic during a charter, testing, isolation and/or disembarkation may be necessary at your own expense. 

Note regarding St. Kitts immigrations/customs requirements: St. Kitts requires all travelers to complete the  KNA Travel Form prior to arrival (All KN applications for St Kitts require upload of the passport copy, a photo and a $17 fee).  We recommend completing this form the day before you depart for St. Maarten.  Please bring the KN form authorization email with you and present to the Captain and the Purser.  They will need the information in the email for St. Kitts immigration.

INDONESIA

Borders are open without restrictions. Indonesian Authorities have now removed the requirement to show any form of COVID-19 vaccination proof on arrival to Indonesia or for onward domestic travel.

It’s strongly recommended to test yourself with an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) before leaving home and wear a mask inside airports & on the aircraft on your way to join our vessels.

Upon arrival in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, taking body temperature can be requested by local authorities. In the event that it is greater than 37.5°C, a swab (PCR) will be performed at the expense of the traveler, and if the body temperature is less than 37.5˚C, you can continue to circulate freely.

Travelers are recommended to have international medical insurance with coverage for the duration of the stay in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

We recommend that all guests bring at least 1x home Antigen Test Kit (ATK) & test themselves, if they feel unwell upon arrival to Indonesia or during their trip.

In the event of positive cases onboard individuals who are symptomatic, or asymptomatic, but tested positive for COVID-19 will be kindly requested to exercise safe social distancing by minimizing social interactions and avoiding crowded spaces onboard.

Custom Declaration: Since January 22, 2024, the Government of Indonesia now requires all visitors to complete a Customs declaration online prior to your departure. Click on this link, and complete the details a maximum of 4 days before your flight to Indonesia, to receive a QR code which will be scanned at the Customs Desk as you pass through, but also at the airline check-in desk for your first international flight.

Online Health Declaration: Since August 30, 2024, and following the classification of Mpox as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) by the WHO on 14th August 2024: The Indonesian government has introduced enhanced health protocols at all entry points, especially airports, to prevent the spread of a new Mpox variant. All travellers, including both Indonesian citizens and foreign visitors, are now required to complete an electronic self-declaration form called the SATUSEHAT Health Pass, before entering the country. 

After filling in the form, a QR Code and personal data information will appear. Indonesian authorities will scan the QR code on arrival in Indonesia. Save it on your smartphone, or bring a printed copy with you to ensure authorities can scan it on arrival.  NoteThis is to be completed up to 3 days before arriving

Borders are open without restrictions – Since October 20, 2022, all travelers are not required to show proof of vaccination OR a negative test to boarding to mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
Important update for all travelers to the Galapagos Islands, starting December 1, 2024: all travelers over 18 years old must now complete an online Sworn Declaration Form before their trip, up to 48 hours before your domestic flight. This form requires travelers to declare any items they are bringing to the islands, such as:

  • Processed, fresh, or cooked food
  • Plants, flowers, seeds, or biological products
  • Live animals, wood, handicrafts, or minerals
  • Camping equipment (e.g., tents, sleeping bags, hiking boots)

You will also need to indicate if you’ve visited places with domestic or wild animals (e.g., farms, zoos, or protected areas) in the last 72 hours.

Important note about the TCT card: The Government Council of the Galapagos Special Regime informs the public, especially those planning to travel to the archipelago as tourists or visitors, that starting Thursday, May 29, 2025, the system for the online acquisition of the Transit Control Card (TCT) will be enabled.

This development represents another step forward in the digitalization of their services, allowing users to manage this mandatory requirement in an agile, secure manner from anywhere, using a computer or mobile device.

To obtain your TCT online, follow these steps:

  1. Go to: https://siig-cgreg.gobiernogalapagos.gob.ec
  2. Accept the personal data processing policy
  3. Watch the required informational video about entry requirements
  4. Fill out the form and validate your email
  5. Enter your travel and accommodation info
  6. Accept the declaration of responsibility and pay online
  7. Reload the page to download your TCT
  8. A copy will also be sent to your email

On the day of your flight, present at the CGREG counter:

  • Your TCT (digital or printed)
  • Valid ID or passport
  • Roundtrip flight ticket

This new system is meant to enhance the travel experience, reduce waiting times, and strengthen entry control in harmony with the conservation of the archipelago.

However, despite Palau new protocols, Explorer Ventures strongly encourages all guests to get tested before departing their home country.

Palau Entry Form submissions must be within 72 hours or less prior to your arrival time in the Republic of Palau. Your responses must be in English. Only ONE form is required per family or single traveler. Once you fill in the form, you will receive a unique QR code to your email. Should guests test positive, quarantine regulations vary by destination. While crew and staff will work with local authorities to make arrangements, the cost of quarantine accommodations, food, supplies, testing, medical needs, flight changes and other expenses are the responsibility of each guest.
