Raja Ampat Itinerary

How to get to & from Sorong (SOQ), West Papua: Raja Ampat & Misool trips start and finish in Sorong, West Papua. We will be there to meet you at Sorong Airport (SOQ) and transport you to your liveaboard adventure. It is easiest to fly to & from Sorong (SOQ) via Jakarta (CGK), Makassar (UPG Ujung Pandang), Bali (DPS, Denpasar), or Manado (MDC).

How to get to Kaimana (KNG), West Papua: Triton Bay trips start and finish in Kaimana, West Papua. Currently Lion Wings Air are the only operator offering flights from Sorong to Kaimana. The easiest way to fly to Kaimana is by flying from Jakarta (CGK) through Sorong (SOQ), then taking the short onward flight to Utarom Airport, Kaimama (KNG).  We will be there to collect you upon arrival and transfer you to the waiting New White Manta where your cabin will be waiting.

Note: Due to recent airline schedule changes our departures from Kaimana are now scheduled for late afternoon (5pm), trip departure day.  Or earlier if everyone arrives before and all trip preparations have been completed. Do not worry, we will be there to collect you at the airport upon your arrival on the trip departure day. We do not recommend our guests to spend transit night in Kaimana.

International Flights: Scoot operates regularly from Singapore to Manado. Garuda Indonesia flies daily from Singapore to Makassar, then domestic flight to Sorong or Kaimana. During the stopover in Makassar, you may wish to take advantage of some rest between flights, just remember to set your alarms in good time for your early flight to Sorong! Ibis Makassar Airport is located right on the side of the exit door.

Jakarta (CGK): If you are travelling via Jakarta, some International & Domestic flights do not always arrive/depart from same terminal building. Transfers between terminals can take some time so please plan accordantly.

Book online directly: Garuda Indonesia & Lion Air provides online reservations.
