Consider the Maldives for manta season! From May-October during the Southwest season, the east side of the atolls can be very special. It’s the best time and place in the Maldives to see manta rays (and whale sharks), during the incredible manta feeding season. Diving on the west side of the atolls is also very active this time of year. You can see large schools of pelagics including different species of sharks, tuna, wrasse, rays, and turtles.
