We are pleased to announce that the Cruisers Academy’s team Brady Trautman and Alex Blue, also known as SV Delos, will be joining us in the Galapagos Islands.

In 2019, Brady & Alex branched out from the nautical SV Delos crew and started the Cruisers Academy – a sailing school and Youtube channel sharing their adventures on the water and through life. They have since released a highly regarded 4-part documentary series about sailing in the high Arctic and have big plans for their next film; Scuba Diving in the Galapagos with YOU!

Brady Trautman first got into scuba diving during his college years in Orlando, Florida. His love of the ocean led him to the Florida Keys where he trained as a dive instructor for the Boy Scouts and eventually became a captain or a 52ft Newton Dive Boat. A few years and many dives later Brady had taken up sailing and fell in love with the lifestyle of living aboard and traveling by the wind. He eventually sold all his possessions and dropped out of college to jump aboard a sailboat in Mexico with his older brother in 2010. They set out across the South Pacific in search of diving and adventure. His life path was instantly changed and that ocean passage that he thought would be a few months voyage to the South Pacific turned into 10 years and 80,000 nautical miles of remote sailing, diving and exploration. Eventually, Brady and his brother started to document their journey on YouTube which eventually led to a full-fledged production company. Brady has sailed around the world and dove some of its most secret and hard to reach spots all while filming the adventure and building one of the world’s largest sailing channels known as SV Delos. He has a keen eye and deep passion for picking out spots never dove before and bringing his camera into the depths to share the Ocean with the world.
Alex Blue was led to the ocean by her camera & passion for sharing her view of the world with others. She started a production company in college with the goal of working in Central & South America. Spending time in this part of the world meant learning to scuba dive, a hobby that soon developed into a passion and then a career. For the last several years she has lived on boats, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean several times and diving many Caribbean and Atlantic islands along the way- capturing her adventures above and below the surface in the form of films and photos. A storyteller at heart, Alex aims to capture the beauty of the ocean to share, relate, teach, inspire, and unite.
