Explorer Ventures Expands the Global Fleet with Two New Liveaboards  

Two New Liveaboards: Emperor Explorer Il is now sailing in the Maldives, followed by the launch of Manta X in Indonesia this November.  

Explorer Ventures Fleet is expanding its global liveaboard portfolio with two new vessels, further strengthening its offerings in the Maldives and Indonesia, two iconic destinations for liveaboard diving. 

Introducing Emperor Explorer II in the Maldives  

Emperor Explorer Il is now sailing in the Maldives. Launched in partnership with Emperor Divers, the newly built vessel offers a refreshed onboard experience designed specifically for liveaboard diving.  

Purposefully designed for long distance cruising and comfortable diving, the vessel combines spacious accommodations, efficient functionality, expansive indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a fully equipped 24m (78-foot) dive dhoni with crew, four dive guides, dedicated camera facilities, and complimentary Nitrox.  

The vessel operates established Maldives itineraries throughout the region’s two distinct diving seasons, offering year-round opportunities to encounter manta rays, whale sharks, thriving coral reefs, and exhilarating channel dives that have made the Maldives one of the world’s most sought-after dive destinations.  

Manta X Launches in Indonesia  

Beginning this November, Explorer Ventures Fleet guests will have the opportunity to explore Indonesia aboard Manta X. Joining sisterships, Blue Manta Explorer and White Manta Explorer, Manta X is White Manta Diving’s newly built 41-meter (135-foot) steel liveaboard is designed to deliver spacious, high-end liveaboard diving while exploring some of Indonesia’s most celebrated dive regions.  

Accommodating up to 20 guests across 12 spacious ensuite cabins, including two Upper Deck Master Suites, Manta X is built with both comfort and diving in mind. Guests can enjoy expansive indoor and outdoor lounges, a dedicated camera room, a spacious dive deck, Nitrox-equipped, and chef-prepared Western and Asian cuisine. With up to 20 crew members onboard and diving conducted in small groups, guests can expect attentive, personalized service throughout each itinerary.  

Manta X itineraries include Raja Ampat, Misool, Komodo, Alor, the Banda Sea, Ambon, and Triton Bay. Seasonal routing provides access to dramatic reef systems, volcanic islands, pelagic encounters, and rich macro life across one of the world’s most biodiverse marine regions.
